Healthy food is
not only important in a person’s diet but is also important for personal
well-being. Eating healthy food is important for everyone especially teens. It
can prevent and control health problems. Eating healthy food can prevent heart
disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and even some cancers. It is not the
same thing as going on a diet. A healthy diet makes a person eat less food
rather than the right food. Dieting causes the body to get less nutrients while
healthy eating boosts and balances the nutrients in the body. Overall, a person
needs to pay attention to what they eat.

foods. Eating healthy snacks is another way to substitute favourite foods.
Eating healthy food will provide the necessary nutrients that the body needs to
function and create new cells. Eating healthy is something that must be done
throughout a person’s life. The entire diet does not need to change abruptly.
It should be done slowly over a period of time.
